In Praise of the Roadside Attraction

Posted on May 9, 2019July 22, 2019by admin

I’m a sucker for a roadside attraction! World’s Largest Ball of Twine? Count me in! Spam Museum? You bet! Creepy clown motel? Er, maybe not. About

Hey! I’m Tami.

In 2016, with zero outdoor experience, I decided to hike the Grand Canyon. Aided by a Google search bar and a glass of Cabernet, I made reservations and embarked on a life-changing year.

I now make my living as a freelance travel and lifestyle writer and am currently writing a book about my experience.

WhenI’m not on the trail or in my kayak, you’ll find me on the deck plotting my next big adventure.

Life’s a trip; let’s take it together.

Available to download and in paperback!
