Greater Gadsden Things to Do on A Rainy Day

A little rain in the forecast got you down?  Don’t worry. There’s plenty to do to keep the kids, and yourself entertained. Here are a couple of ideas for indoor fun in inclement weather.

Jump and fly on over 10,000 square feet of connected, world-class trampolines at The Factory. Don’t miss the Sci-Fi Safari Galactic Laser Course. Step inside a real-life video game for laser tag with a twist. Play now. Grow up later.

Step outside of your comfort zone and learn some new skills at Gadrock. Enjoy climbing for all skill levels, with the tallest wall clocking in at 38 feet.  There is also a designated bouldering area, all overlooking beautiful Lake Gadsden.

Let your imagination run wild at Imagination Place Children’s Museum. Designed primarily for children ages 2 through 10, this interactive play place has a Tiny Town USA permanent exhibit where kids can visit the bank, grocery shop and play in the construction pit while learning about the community. They also have rotating seasonal exhibits. Don’t forget to go upstarts at the Mary G. Hardin Center and see the train.

The newest addition to indoor fun in the Greater Gadsden area is The Alley. Located in the Gadsden Mall, they have 18 lanes of bowling, a sixty-seat arcade, and a full-service restaurant and bar. While you’re there, if some indoor mini-golf sounds fun, check out Black Light Mini-Golf in the Gadsden Mall. After, take a spin on the carousel, grab some lunch in the food court, or take in a movie.
Hours and admission vary. Call the venue, or visit them online before you go.
Don’t let a little rain scare you away from a great time in the Greater Gadsden area. So grab your umbrella for the dash to the car and get ready for an indoor adventure.
As always, thanks for reading! XOXO
